The Tennessee flag is set on a red background. Two thin vertical stripes are located on the right side of the banner. They are colored white and blue. A blue circle outlined in white is located in the center. It contains three stars, which represent the east, west, and middle parts of the state.

The Tennessee flag was adopted on April 17, 1905. It was designed by LeRoy Reeves. Elements of the design appear in the logo of the NFL team the Tennessee Titans.
