The Nebraska flag was designed by J. Lloyd McMaster and it was adopted in 1925 and made official in 1963. It is made up of a dark blue background. The state’s seal is depicted in the middle of the banner. It features a boat, a train, and a man pounding what appears to be an anvil.
A different version of the Nebraska flag, designed by a New Yorker, was rejected in 1921.
