The Minnesota flag is set on a light blue background. The state’s seal is located in the middle of the banner. The seal features a man riding a horse, as well as a man plowing a field.
The Minnesota flag was adopted in 1957, but some small changes were made in 1983. In 1983, a new proposal for a new state flag was set forth. The design was called the “North Star Flag”.
